Common questions.
Quick answers.

Everything we get asked most about Shuttlefix — bracket size, scoring, exports, and what's actually free.

01 What bracket sizes are supported?

Rally (free) supports 4 and 8-player brackets. Match Point goes up to 64 players. All tiers run single-elimination — round-robin and group-stage formats are on the roadmap.

02 Does it follow BWF rules?

Yes. Every match uses BWF rally point scoring — first to 21 points, win by 2, cap at 30 — best of 3 games. The format is locked to keep results fair and BWF-aligned across every tournament.

03 Can I save a tournament and finish it later?

On Rally (free), your bracket lives in your browser only — close the tab and it's gone. On Match Point, every tournament auto-saves to the cloud and shows up under My Tournaments so you can pick up exactly where you left off on any device.

04 How do I print or export the bracket?

Match Point can print directly from the bracket page — choose paper size (A4, Letter, A3), portrait or landscape, and which details to include (header, scores, flags). To save as PDF, just pick "Save as PDF" in your browser's print dialog. Rally users see a preview but can't print.

05 Is there a doubles or mixed format?

Yes — all five BWF event types are supported. Rally (free) includes Men's Singles (MS) only. Match Point unlocks the full set: Women's Singles (WS), Men's Doubles (MD), Women's Doubles (WD), and Mixed Doubles (XD).

06 Can I share a live tournament link with players?

Yes — Match Point includes live spectator links + QR codes. Generate a shareable URL with one tap and anyone can follow the bracket in real-time as scores update, no app or login needed. Sharing is a Match Point feature — Rally (free) users will need to upgrade.
